Understanding Rare Gemstones
A stone becomes rare when several conditions arrive together. Origin narrows the field. Colour narrows it further. Then clarity, cut and the absence of treatment reduce the possibilities to a handful of examples worldwide.
In practice, this means that two stones of identical weight may occupy entirely different worlds. One is a commodity. The other is a search that may take months.
Our approach begins with defining the stone precisely — not as a category, but as a set of conditions worth waiting for.
